Privacy policy — Jeu du Roi

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This page is an English translation provided for convenience. The French version is the reference one.

This policy explains what data the Jeu du Roi mobile application (“the app”) processes, and how. The app is published by Zbraa Games.

Our principle is simple: Jeu du Roi requires no account, collects no identifying personal data, and keeps nothing lasting about you.

1. Summary

2. Data we process

a) Anonymous identifier (authentication)

So that players can join the same game, the app creates an anonymous identifier through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). This identifier is linked to no personal information (no name, no email). It only exists to secure access to games.

b) Game data (real time)

During a game, the app exchanges strictly game-related information through Firebase Realtime Database (Google):

This data is ephemeral: it is deleted as the game goes on and on disconnection. It contains no identifying personal data.

c) Gender declared in game

You may state “male”, “female” or “anonymous” so that some dares adapt. That information only travels during the game for the game to work; it is not stored and is not linked to any identity.

We do not collect: name, email, phone, location, contacts, photos, or account identifiers.

3. Advertising

The app displays no advertising and uses no advertising identifier. We share no data with advertising networks or partners.

3 bis. In-app purchases

The app is free. It offers one optional purchase (“buy a coffee” — a tip to support the developer). The transaction is handled entirely by Google Play: we do not collect, see or store any payment data (card, banking details…). Payment processing is subject to Google's privacy policy.

4. Processors

We rely on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) for anonymous authentication and real-time data exchange. The database servers used are located in the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Google acts as a technical processor.

4 bis. Legal basis and transfers

Processing the anonymous identifier and the in-game exchanges rests on performing the service you asked for: without them the phones cannot talk to each other and there is no game. No processing rests on advertising, because there is none.

The realtime database is hosted in the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Anonymous authentication may be processed by Google outside the Union; Google states that it frames such transfers with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We build no profile and sell no data.

6. Security

Exchanges with our services are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the database is restricted by security rules and limited to authenticated sessions of the app.

7. Intended audience

Jeu du Roi is for adults only (18+). The app is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data about minors.

8. Your rights

As the app keeps no identifying personal data, there is in practice no data about you to access, correct or delete. For any question about your rights (GDPR) or about this policy, contact us at the address below.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated (for instance when new features are added). The “last updated” date at the top of the page indicates the version in force.
